By accessing and utilizing the C-SHAW Volunteer Hub, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms govern your participation in volunteer activities and your use of our digital platforms.

1. User Code of Conduct & Academic Integrity

All users (Students, Executives, and Coordinators) agree to maintain the highest standards of integrity:

• Honesty in Reporting: Students must only log hours for volunteer work actively performed. Falsifying hours, attempting to sign in remotely without being present, or logging hours on behalf of an absent student is a severe offense.
• Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate and truthful information during registration and profile updates.
• Community Respect: You agree to act respectfully toward community partners, clinic staff, and fellow volunteers at all C-SHAW events.

2. AI Career Toolkit Fair Use

The platform provides an AI-powered Career Toolkit to assist students in generating professional documents based on verified hours.

• No Guarantees: While the AI tools are designed to enhance employability, C-SHAW does not guarantee job placement, scholarships, or academic admission based on the generated outputs.
• Rate Limiting: To ensure fair access for all students, the generation of AI documents is subject to monthly limits. Attempting to bypass these limits or manipulate the system is strictly prohibited.

3. Educational Content & Certificates

The platform may offer micro-courses and health literacy quizzes.

• Non-Academic Credit: Digital badges and certificates awarded through the platform signify the completion of specific health literacy modules. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, these do not carry formal academic weight or university course credits.

4. Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree not to share your account access with any other individual. Please notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access or security breaches.

5. Intellectual Property

All platform content, software code, UI designs, and C-SHAW logos are the intellectual property of the Centre of Student Health and Wellness (C-SHAW) and the Nazire Mathe. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or distribute any part of the platform without explicit written consent.

6. Termination and Disciplinary Action

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate the accounts of users who violate these terms. In cases of intentional fraud (such as falsifying official volunteer records), C-SHAW reserves the right to report the user to the relevant university disciplinary committees.
